Why man lives upto 75 years ?

God created the donkey

and said to him.
"You will be a donkey. You will work untiringly from sunrise to sunset
carrying burdens on your back. You will eat grass,
you will have no intelligence and you will live
50 years."
The donkey answered:

"I will be a donkey, but to live
50 years is much. Give me only 20 years"
God granted his wish.

............ .......... ......... ......... ......... ......... .........

God created the dog

and said to him:
"You will guard the house of man. You will be his best Friend.
You will eat the scraps that he gives you and you will live
30 years.
You will be a dog. "

The dog answered:

"Sir, to live
30 years is too much, give me only 15 years.
" God granted his wish.

............ ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ......

God created the monkey

and said to him:
"You will be a monkey. You will swing from branch to branch doing tricks.
You will be amusing and you will live

20
years. "
The monkey answered:

"To live
20 years is too much, give me only 10 years."
God granted his wish.

............ ......... ......... ......... .......... ......... ......... ......... ......... .....

Finally God created man ...

and said to him:
"You will be man, the only rational creature on the face of the earth.
You will use your intelligence to become master over all the animals.
You will dominate the world and you will live
20 years."
Man responded:

"Sir, I will be a man but to live only

20
years is very little,
give me the
30 years that the donkey refused,
the
15 years that the dog did not want and
the
10 years the monkey refused.
" God granted man's wish

............ .......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... ......... .........

And since then, man lives

20
years as a man ,
marries and spends

30
years like a donkey,
working and carrying all the burdens on his back.

Then when his children are grown,
he lives
15 years like a dog taking care of the house
and eating whatever is given to him,

so that when he is old,
he can retire and live
10 years like a monkey,
going from house to house and from one son or
daughter to another doing tricks to amuse his grandchildren.

The Ingenious Patriot....

Having obtained an audience of the King, an Ingenious Patriot pulled a paper from his pocket, saying:
"May it please your Majesty, I have here a formula for constructing armour-plating which no gun can pierce. If these plates are adopted in the Royal Navy our warships will be invulnerable, and therefore invincible. Here, also, are reports of your Majesty's Ministers, attesting the value of the invention. I will part with my right in it for a million tumtums."
After examining the papers, the King put them away and promised him an order on the Lord High Treasurer of the Extortion Department for a million tumtums."And here," said the Ingenious Patriot, pulling another paper from another pocket, "are the working plans of a gun that I have invented, which will pierce that Armour.Your Majesty's Royal Brother, the Emperor of Bang, is anxious to purchase it, but loyalty to your Majesty's throne and person constrains me to offer it first to your Majesty. The price is one million tumtums."Having received the promise of another check, he thrust his hand into still another pocket, remarking:"The price of the irresistible gun would have been much greater, your Majesty, but for the fact that its missiles can be so effectively averted by my peculiar method of treating the armour plates with a new -"The King signed to the Great Head Factotum to approach."Search this man," he said, "and report how many pockets he has.""Forty-three, Sire," said the Great Head Factotum, completing the scrutiny."May it please your Majesty," cried the Ingenious Patriot, in terror, "one of them contains tobacco."
"Hold him up by the ankles and shake him," said the King; "then give him a check for forty-two million tumtums and put him to death. Let a decree issue declaring ingenuity a capital offence."

King M and the God...!!

Hey friend, I tell you a story. A good story. With a moral in it.

I tell you about a king. I tell you about King Mmefiokmma. See, King M, he living long time ago with big kingdom. Lots of land and people. Just not enough water on one part of his kingdom. So he has like a desert, see? King M; he a good king.
So one day, God says to him: "Mmefiokmma, you're a good king, so I’ll give you the one thing you really need. I'll give you a river so you won’t lack water so much. Good, eh?"
King M says, "It's good," and, "thank you, God," then he sits back and waits for the river.
Soon enough the river comes flowing though. But it’s flowing on the side of the kingdom that don't need it so much.
So King M figures to himself, maybe God forgot which side of the kingdom really needed the river. So he puts up army of workers and they spend a lifetime diverting the river to the side of the kingdom that really needs it.
Problem is, not long after they finish this tedious work, the whole river dries up.
So King M, now wasted by age and disappointment, cries up to God. "God, why have you taken back the river?"
"I didn't." Says God.
"So where's it gone to?" King wants to know.
God chuckles and says, "My son Mmefiokmma, you gave it to the desert, didn't you? That desert been thirsty long before your time. I knew that, but you didn't."
Again King M cries up to God sadly: "God, since you knew the desert was going to drink up the river, why didn't you warn me when I was diverting it there? And since you can do everything, why didn't you just sate the desert so it wouldn't drink up all the river?"
God sighs heavily and King M's whole kingdom trembles. Then God says, "Mmefiokmma, that's the problem with you humans: you just don't get it."
Now, friend, you know the story; you can figure out the moral -- I'm not sure what it is so I can’t tell you. I can tell you though that I like this story and I'd like to try and dramatize it. You think maybe you can play King M and I play God?

A mere Suggestion...!

That morning I was reading a horror novel and, although it was broad daylight, I fell victim to the power of suggestion. This suggestion implanted in me the idea that there was a bloodthirsty murderer in the kitchen; and this bloodthirsty murderer, brandishing an enormous dagger, was waiting for me to enter the kitchen so he could leap upon me and plunge the knife into my back. So, in spite of my being seated directly across from the kitchen door, in spite of the fact that no one could have gone into the kitchen without my having seen him, and that there was no other access to the kitchen but that door; in spite of all these facts, I, nonetheless, was fully convinced that the murderer lurked behind the closed door.
So I fell victim to the power of suggestion and did not have the courage to enter the kitchen. This worried me, because lunch time was approaching and it would be indispensable for me to go into the kitchen. Then the doorbell rang.

"
Come in!" I yelled without standing up. "It's not locked."The building superintendent came in, with two or three letters."My leg fell asleep," I said. "Could you go to the kitchen and bring me a glass of water?" The super said, "Of course," opened the kitchen door and went in. I heard a cry of pain and the sound of a body that, in collapsing, dragged with it dishes or bottles. Then I leaped from my chair and ran to the kitchen. The super, half his body on the table and an enormous dagger plunged into his back, lay dead. Now, calmed down, I was able to determine that, of course, there was no murderer in the kitchen.
As is logical, it was a case of mere suggestion.

Why western Women Choose Islam....!

Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world today, and Western women make up the largest number of converts, out-numbering male converts by a ratio of almost 4:1. While this may seem strange to people who regard Muslim women as weak and oppressed, the fact is that Islam gives enormous respect and dignity to women and demands that society treat them with justice and honor. Volumes have been written about the Muslim woman and her rights, but no one can explain why women are attracted to Islam better than Muslim women themselves.

The Rope He did not wanted to Leave...!!!

The story tells about a mountain climber, who wanted to climb the highest mountain. He begun his adventure after many years of preparation but since he wanted the glory just for himself,he decide ti climb the mountain alone. The night felt heavy in the heights of mountain, and the man could not see anything. All was black.Zero visibility, and the moon and the stars were covered by clouds. As he was climbing , only a few feet away from the top of the mountain,he slipped and fell into the air, falling at a great speed.
The climber could only see black spots as he went down. and the terrible sensation of being sucked by gravity. He kept falling ... and in those moments of great fear,it came to his mind all the good and bad episodes of his life.He was thinking now about about the close death was getting, when all of a sudden he felt the rope tied to his waist pull him very hard. His body was hanging in the air... only the rope was holding him, and in that moment of stillness he had no other choice but to scream: HELP ME GOD ..!!

All of a Sudden, a deep voice coming from
the sky answered :

-WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ?
- SAVE ME GOD!!
-DO YOU REALLY THINK I CAN SAVE YOU?
-OF COURSE I BELIEVE YOU CAN
-THEN CUT THE ROPE TIED TO YOUR WAIST....

There was a moment of silence; and the man decided to hold on to the rope with all his strength. The rescue teams tells, that the next day a climber was found dead and frozen..his body hanging from a rope. His hands holding tight to it...
ONLY 10 FEET AWAY FROM THE GROUND...

And You ? how attached are you to your rope? Will you let go ?

Don't ever doubt the things from God.You never should say that He has forgotten or abandoned you.Don't ever think that he does not take care of you.Remember he is very nearer to you than your viens.

Prophet Muhammad's(pbuh) Last Sermon...!!!

This Sermon was delivered on the Ninth Day of Dhul Hijjah 10 A.H in the Uranah Valley of mount Arafat
"O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I don't know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today.
O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take usury (Interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived...
Beware of Satan, for your safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.
O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have right over you. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and comitted helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to commit adultery.
O People, listen to me in earnest, whorship Allah, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadhan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to. You know that every Muslim is the brother of another Muslim. You are all equal. Nobody has superiority over other except by piety and good action.
Remember, one day you will appear before Allah and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not astray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.
O People, no prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand my words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Qur'an and my example, the Sunnah and if you follow these you will never go astray.
All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me direcly. Be my witness oh Allah that I have conveyed your message to your people."

Islamic method of Slaughtering animals is better...!

Al Shaddad Bin Aous has quoted this tradition of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H.) "God calls for mercy in everything, so be merciful when you kill and when you slaughter, sharpen your blade to relieve its pain".

Many allegations have been made that Islamic slaughter is not humane to animals. However, Professor Schultz and his colleague Dr. Hazim of the Hanover University, Germany, proved through an experiment, using an electroencephalograph (EEG) and electrocardiogram (ECG) that *Islamic slaughter is THE humane method of slaughter* and captive bolt stunning, practiced by the Western method, causes severe pain to the animal.

The results surprised many.

Experimental Details:

1. Several electrodes were surgically implanted at various points of the skull of all animals, touching the surface of the brain.

2. The animals were allowed to recover for several weeks.

3. Some animals were slaughtered by making a swift, deep incision with a sharp knife on the neck cutting the jugular veins and carotid Arteries of both sides; as also the trachea and esophagus Halal Method.

4. Some animals were stunned using a captive bolt pistol humane slaughter by the western method.

5. During the experiment, EEG and ECG were recorded on all animals to record the condition of the brain and heart during the course of slaughter and stunning.

Results and Discussion:

I - Halal Method

1. The first three seconds from the time of Islamic slaughter as recorded on the EEG did not show any change from the graph before slaughter, thus indicating that the animal did not feel any pain during or immediately after the incision.

2. For the following 3 seconds, the EEG recorded a condition of deep sleep - unconsciousness. This is due to a large quantity of blood gushing out from the body.

3. After the above mentioned 6 seconds, the EEG recorded zero level, showing no feeling of pain at all.

4. As the brain message (EEG) dropped to zero level, the heart was still pounding and the body convulsing vigorously (a reflex action of the spinal cord) driving maximum blood from the body: resulting in hygienic meat for the consumer.

II - Western method by C.B.P. Stunning

1. The animals were apparently unconscious soon after stunning.

2. EEG showed severe pain immediately after stunning.

3. The hearts of the animal stunned by C.B.P. stopped beating earlier as compared to those of the animals slaughtered according to the Halal method resulting in the retention of more blood inthe meat. This in turn is unhygienic for the consumer.

Short-Story got him TCS Job...!

There was a contest in TCS to write a fictional story for 500 words max which would start with the line On a dark and foggy night, a small figure lay huddled on the railway tracks leading to the Chennai station. This is what a guy wrote for the contest and surprisingly, it was adjudged the best short story...

On a dark and foggy night, a small figure lay huddled on the railway tracks leading to the Chennai station. At once I was held back to see someone in that position during midnight with no one around. With curiosity taking the front seat, I went near the body and tried to investigate it. There was blood all over the body which was lying face down. It seemed that a ruthless blow by the last train could have caused the end of this body which seemed to be that of a guy of around my age. Amidst the gory blood flow, I could see a folded white envelope which was fluttering in the midnight wind. Carefully I took the blood stained envelope and was surprised to see the phrase appraisal letter on it. With curiosity rising every moment, I wasted no time in opening the envelope to see if I can find some details about the dead guy. The tag around the body’s neck and the jazzy appraisal cover gave me the hint that he might be a software engineer. I opened the envelope to find a shining paper on which the appraisal details where typed in flying colors. Thunders broke into my ears and lightening struck my heart when I saw the appraisal amount of the dead guy!!!!! My God, it was not even, as much as the cost of the letter on which the appraisal details were printed. My heart poured out for the guy and huge calls were heard inside my mind saying no wonder, this guy died such a miserable death. As a fellow worker in the same industry, I thought I should mourn for him for the sake of respect and stood there with a heavy heart thinking of the shock that he would have experienced when his manager had placed the appraisal letter in his hand. I am sure his heart would have stopped and eyes would have gone blank for few seconds looking at the near to nothing increment in his salary.
While I mourned for him, for a second my hands froze to see the employee’s name in the appraisal letter hey, what a strange co-incidence, this guy’s name is same as mine, including the initials. This was interesting. With some mental strength, I turned the body upside down and found myself fainted for a second. The guy not only had my name, but also looked exactly like me. Same looks, same built, same name. it was me who was dead there!!!!!!!! While I was lost in that shock, I felt someone patting on my shoulders. My heart stopped completely, I could not breathe and sprung in fear to see who was behind splash!!! Went the glass of water on my laptop screen as I came out of my wild dream to see my manager standing behind my chair patting on my shoulder saying, wake up man? Come to meeting room number two. I have your appraisal letter ready.

Muslim Population in London

1 in 12 people in London are Muslim
According to a new survey released by the Greater London Authority, Muslim communities share common values and concerns with the wider community, repudiating the image of conflicting values portrayed by certain sections of the media.

96% of Muslim Londoners think that everyone should respect the law in Britain, virtually the same as the number of Londoners as a whole at 97%.

89% of Muslim Londoners believe that everyone in Britain should be free to live their lives as they want so long as they do not prevent others from doing the same (Londoners as a whole 88%).

94% of Muslim Londoners believe that everyone in Britain should have equal opportunities (92% of Londoners as a whole).

86% of Muslim Londoners think it is important that the Metropolitan Police work closely with communities such as the Muslim community to deter terrorist attacks (91% of all Londoners).

74% of Muslim Londoners and are proud of their local area (70% of Londoners as whole).

Ken Livingstone said: “This survey shows that the vast majority of Muslims hold views in common with the rest of London about respect for the law, the value of democracy, the importance of mutual respect and equal opportunities.
“The survey shows that Muslims in London want a society based on mutual respect for different beliefs as much as other Londoners. One in twelve Londoners is Muslim and London's Muslim communities, in all their diversity, play an essential part in the life of our city, contributing to its success as a global city.”
